How do I dispute a mechanic's quote? expand_more
If you disagree with a quote, you can request a second opinion directly through the app before authorizing any work. Our internal team of master mechanics also reviews all quotes to ensure fair pricing.
Is my payment information secure? expand_more
Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption via Stripe for all transactions. CHAMP never stores your raw credit card data on our servers.
What happens if the mechanic can't fix my car on-site? expand_more
If the issue is too complex for mobile repair, the mechanic will notify you via the app. You will only be charged the initial diagnostic fee, and we can immediately dispatch a CHAMP tow truck to bring your vehicle to a partnered facility.
How do I become a verified CHAMP provider? expand_more
Mechanics and tow operators can apply via the 'Become a Provider' page. You'll need to submit your ASE certifications (or equivalent), proof of insurance, and pass a background check.
How do I change my default payment method? expand_more
Go to Account Settings > Billing > Payment Methods. From there, you can add a new credit card or set an existing one as your default.
Can I add multiple vehicles to my profile? expand_more
Yes! You can add as many vehicles as you like in your 'My Garage' section. Make sure to enter the correct VIN so our mechanics know exactly what parts to bring.
When am I actually charged for a service? expand_more
A pre-authorization hold is placed when you book the appointment. You are only officially charged after the mechanic completes the work and you sign off on the service.
When do providers get paid? expand_more
CHAMP processes provider payouts weekly via direct deposit. You can track your pending and historical payouts directly in the Provider Dashboard.
